MAHONEY'S ADVENTURE - I used the same name of my comedy series character.  Wrong choice.

The mistake I made was keeping the last name of my comedy character Mahoney and changing his first name into a more masculine name, Will.  People would get that name confused.  It was my fault for not coming up with a different name for the start of the action film characters.  I would go to local stores and gas pumps around Syracuse and get recognized as Mahoney.  That's it.  I ran all the comedy episodes, "Mahoney's Adventure" and "Concrete Skies" on Time Warner Cable for over 5 years.  But the movie turned out decent for my first action film attempt.
