BILLY MAHONEY MEETS THE MAFIA

This is a historical building in Cazenovia, New York, known as the Lorenzo House.  I should know the significance but it really escapes me.  When I find that I need to figure it out I'll change this around.  Anyway, I used this as the exterior of Santino's house.  He plays the mob boss of Syracuse.  Pretty cool huh?  The interiors were inside the house my father and mother stayed in for close to 30 years but I thought the exterior of the house should be something really classy.

Other landmarks I used were Joey's Italian restaurant at Carrier Circle and Pappa's Bakery on Old Liverpool Road.

I scoped out Pappa's Bakery for this scene and I got clearance from the owner, who was a 30 year old Italian guy, can't remember his name.  I showed promptly that day to shoot and his mother was the only one working.  I explained to her that I was given permission by her son to shoot in their parking lot.....she wasn't keen to the idea.  Everything was going good until I started beating upon Sam (Angelo) with "Billy's baseball bat", the cops were called by her because she thought it went out of control.  Needless to say, we got the scene shot and I avoided the police...they thought she was crazy.
